HOT LINE, new Borum partner in Brazil

HOT LINE was founded in 1997 in the city of Diadema, a chemical-industrial area in greater São Paulo. The original mission of Hot Line was to meet the needs of the sector of road signs and safety, focused on the manufacture of thermoplastic and the demarcation of those applications, hence the origin of the name HOT LINE.

Over the twelve years of operation the company has expanded its portfolio to act on several fronts of business such as: acrylic paints (water based and solvent based), cold plastic, tacks and tachões, which means that Hot Line is now the leader of the segment of products for road signs throughout the country with over 40% of the market.

Today the company is recognized as a modern and innovative company. One of the main strengths of the company is the ability to build partnerships that add value to the Brazilian market. Other partners of the company are: Evonik (Germany), 3M (USA), USP - University of São Paulo, ABCP - Associação Brasileira de Cimento Portland and Sherwim Williams.

In January 2009 HOT LINE acquired Durlin Paints, a manufacturer of paints and coatings with over 53 years of operation. With an industrial park of more than 10,000 square meters, HOT LINE is now the largest manufacturer of paints, materials and technologies for Horizontal Road Marking in Brazil.
